Transfers to Solidification/Stabilization (metals only)

Waste solidification/stabilization is a physical or chemical process used to either reduce the mobility of the chemical or to eliminate free liquids in a hazardous waste. A waste stabilization process includes mixing the hazardous waste with binders or other materials, and curing the resulting hazardous waste and binder mixture. Data from Section 6.2, Codes M41 or M40 (metals and metal category compounds only), on the TRI Form R.
