Description of Acquisition:
The purpose of the Superfund Technical Assistance and response Team (START) contract is to provide nationally consistent advisory and assistance services to EPA On-Scence Coordinators (OSCs) and other federal officals implementing Environmental protection Agency's (EPA) responsiblities under the national response system. The contractor provides scientific/technical support for EPA activities in furtherance of the agency's primary mission: the protection of human health and the environment. Additionally, the contractor provides advisory and assitance services to other programs, such as site assessment, Brownfields, and remdial support activites. For each assigned task, the contractor provides appropriately experienced, trained, and accredited personnel with current credentials/certifications as well as all supplies, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to complete the job.
