Description of Acquisition: | | To improve Tribal, Tribal consortia and insular territory recipient’s compliance with Federal assistance agreement requirements, the Office of Administration and Resource Management (OARM) and the Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP) will team together to enter into this multi-year contract to build grants management capacity among Tribes, Tribal consortia and insular territory recipients. This innovative contract will allow Tribal colleges to take the lead in improving compliance with federal grants administrative and financial requirements. Through this contract, the EPA will work to:
· Improve compliance by building administrative and financial capacity among Tribal recipients;
· Increase the pool of trained individuals working at the Tribal administration level, thereby reducing the need for Agency monitoring;
· Combine the mutual goals, objectives, and resources of OARM and OSBP to result in cost savings to the Agency, and eliminate duplicate efforts. |
