METHODS DEVELOPMENT FOR ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL BENEFITS ASSESSMENT
Volume X, EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Adapted for interactive on-line format by Alan Carlin, 1997
This report summarizes the second major series of research reports to be produced by a "center of excellence" originally established by the EPA Office of Research and Development at the University of Wyoming in the mid-1970s to carry out research on the economic benefits of pollution control. Reports summarizing the first and third series, entitled Methods Development for Assessing Air Pollution Control Benefits and Methods Development in Measuring Benefits of Environmental Improvements, respectively, are also available. Individual reports from a fourth series, entitled Experimental Methods for Assessing Environmental Benefits, and part of a fifth series, entitled Improving Accuracy and Reducing the Costs of Environmental Benefits Assessments, are also available by searching for these titles in the Series Title view of the Environmental Economics Report Inventory, but no summary volumes are now available. If you are interested in the full text of this summary of the second series, you may download it from the report record. There are also a number of other on-line reports available on this Website.
