The purpose of this report is to assess economic impacts that may be experienced by heavy-duty gasoline vehicle manufacturers due to changes in catalysts, on-board diagnostics systems (OBD), and other technologies designed to allow a new vehicle to comply with new, lower nationwide vehicle and engine standards and OBD II requirements. Only one regulatory options was considered.
