Chromium Emissions from Comfort Cooling Towers--Background Information for Proposed Standards, Final.
Standards of performance for the control of hexavalent chromium emissions from comfort cooling towers are being proposed under authority of Section 6 of the Toxic Substances Control Act. These standards would apply to existing and new comfort cooling towers. This document contains background information and environmental and economic impact assessments of the regulatory alternatives considered in developing the proposed standards.
