Maneb: Revised Health Effects Division (HED) Human Health Risk Assessment to Support Reregistration.
In general, risks from maneb per se and its metabolite ethylene thiourea (ETU) are below HED's level of concern. Risks from food are below HED's level of concern for acute and chronic (cancer and non-cancer) exposures. Residential postapplication exposure to maneb and ETU residues on treated turf from sod farms results in risk concerns, requiring a pre-harvest interval (PHI) of 5 to 9 days for mitigation.
