Economic Analysis For The Proposed Section 4 Test Rule For High Production Volume Chemicals, Final Draft Report.
powered by
This report evaluates the economic impact of the testing requirements for 49 high production volume chemicals that are currently covered by the proposed rule. The proposed rule would require manufacturers and importers of the chemicals to conduct testing for base-level toxicity screening and provide the results to EPA, which will make the data available to the public. Costs were estimated for industry - for conducting and documenting the tests, and for EPA - for reviewing documents submitted by industry.
