Agricultural Benefits Using AGSIM for the NOx SIP Call, Draft Report.
powered by
Air pollution controls implemented in the 22-state SIP Call region are expected to reduce ozone concentration throughout the region. In addition, because there is transport of pollutants to nearby states, an additional 15 states are expected to experience some degree of change in ozone concentration. Changes in ozone concentrations are known to affect agricultural production affecting agricultural crops to different degrees depending on their sensitivity.
