Chlorothalonil is a broad-spectrum, non-systemic protectant pesticide mainly used as a fungicide to control fungal foliar diseases of vegetable, field, and ornamental crops. It is also used as a wood protectant, antimold and antimildew agent, bactericide, microbiocide, algaecide, insecticide, and acaricide.
