Aldicarb is a granular systemic insecticide, acaricide and nematicide that was first registered for use in 1970, and belongs to the carbamate class of chlonesterase-inhibiting chemicals. Aldicarb is registered for use on numerous crops, including cotton, peanuts, potatoes, citrus, soybeans, tobacco, sugarcane, and sugar beets.
