There are six known organic arsenical pesticides; cacodylic acid and its sodium salt (sodium cacodylate); monosodium methanearsonate (MSMA); disodium methanearsonate (DSMA); calcium acid methanearsonate (CAMA); octylammonium methanearsonate; and dodecylanmmonium methanearsonate. Cacodylic acid is a registered herbicide as well as a common transformation product of DSMA, MSMA, and CAMA.
