Pendimethalin: Revised HED Human Health Risk Assessment to Support Section 3 Registration for Use on Carrots, Mint, Citrus, and Tree Nuts.
A human health risk assessment has been conducted to support a proposed Section 3 registration and associated tolerances for the herbicide pendimethalin on carrots, mint, citrus and tree nuts. Pendimethalin is a selective herbicide registered for control of broadleaf weeds and grassy weed species on a variety of agricultural crops, turf and ornamentals. It is a meristematic inhibitor that interferes with the plant's cellular division of mitosis, and is generally applied early in the growing season.
