Health Effects Criteria Document for Chlorobenzene, Final Draft.
Chlorobenzene has been used industrially in great quantities. It has been detected in raw water sources, waste waters and even in finished drinking water supplies. Chlorobenzene is poorly soluble in water but highly soluble in lipids. It is absorbed readily from the lungs, gastrointestinal tract and, to a lesser degree, through the skin.
