This report examines the solid wastes generated by the inorganic chemicals industry relative to the impact of Section 4004 of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act. The report provides (1) a data base on the type and quantity and disposal techniques now applied for the control of inorganic chemicals; (2) the Federal policies concerning solid wastes from the inorganic chemicals industry; (3) information concerning the costs to industry of meeting RCRA requirements, specifically Section 4004.
