Regulatory Impact Analysis For Section 112(G) Rulemaking.
Under the Clean Air Act Section 112(g), EPA proposes to regulate hazardous air pollutant (HAP) emissions from new or existing sources that have been modified or reconstructed from major new sources of HAPs. The regulation will require adherence to maximum acheivable control technology (MACT) emission limitations. RIA presents a benefits analysis, an economic impact analysis, and estimates of the cost of emission reductions under each regulatory scenario.
