Metconazole: Human Health Risk Assessment for Proposed Tolerance on Imported Bananas.
Metconazole is a systemic triazole fungicide being proposed for control of Black Sigatoka disease on bananas grown outside the United States. Metconazole acts primarily as an inhibitor of ergosterol biosynthesis, thereby interfering with synthesis of fungal cell membranes.
