powered by
ICR for the Consolidated Federal Air Rule (CAR). the CAR is an optional alternative compliance approach for plant sites that must comply with existing subparts in the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR). The CAR is a consolidation of major portions of 13 different New Source Performance Standards (NSPS) and National Emission Standards for Hazardous Ait Pollutants (NESHAP). Compliance with the CAR is voluntary; sources may choose to comply with existing applicable rules or may choose to comply with the CAR. The CAR does not add new requirements. It is intended to reduce the burden of recordkeeping and reporting.
