Estimating Employment Impacts of Water Infrastructure Funding: A Report to Congress, Final Report.
Investment in water infrastructure accounts for an estimated $60 billion of spending per year by local water utilities. It includes investment in equipment and structures for wastewater collection and treatment; drinking water treatment and delivery; and nonpoint source pollution controls. The purpose of this report is to assess how water infrastructure funding affects job creation in the U.S. economy.
