Magnetic Tape Manufacturing Industry--Background Information For Promulgated Standards, Final EIS.
Standards of performance for the control of VOC emissions from magnetic tape manufacturing lines are being promulgated under authority of Section III of the Clean Air Act. These standards apply to all new magnetic tape coating lines using at least 38 cubic meters of solvent per year (m/yr) in the production of magnetic tape and to all modified and reconstructed magnetic tape coating lines using at least 370 m3/yr in the production of magnetic tape. This document contains a summary of the public comments on the proposed standards and EPA's responses, as well as summary economic and environmental impact statements.
