Benzene Emissions From Maleic Anhydride Industry--Background Information For Proposed Standards, Draft EIS.
powered by
A National Emission Standard for the control of benzene emissions from maleic anhydride plants is being proposed under the authority of section 112 of the Clean Air Act. The proposed standard would apply to both new and existing sources. This document contains background information and environmental and economic assessments of the regulatory alternatives considered in developing the proposed standard.
This source was dropped from the final Benzene NESHAP because benzene was no longer used to produce maleic anhydride.
