Cost Estimates for SCR Applications on Coal-Fired Utility and Small Industrial Boilers, Draft Report.
powered by
This report presents the results of a study conducted by Bechtel to develop costs for selective catalytic reduction (SCR) technology applications for control of nitrogen oxides (NOx) emissions from coal-fired boilers. These costs have been developed for two categories of boilers: 1) utility boilers used in power plants generating elecricity and ranging in size from 25 to 1,300 MW and, 2) small industrial boilers used in the production of process steam only and ranging in size from 150 to 500 MMBtu/hr.
