On August 2, 2001, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency proposed national emission standards for hazardous air pollutant (HAP) emissions from reinforced plastic composites production operations at major source facilities (66 FR 40323). These proposed standards implemented section 112(d) of the Clean Air Act as amended in 1990 (CAA).
