The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is proposing amendments to the current National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) for the Portland cement manufacturing industry. The proposed amendments add or revise, as applicable , emission limits for mercury, total hydrocarbons, hydrogen chloride, and particulate matter from kilns and in-line/raw mills located at major or area sources.
