This report provides the necessary background information technical analyses, and justification in support of the proposed amendments to 40 CFR Part 191. The scope of this report encompasses the conceptual framework for assessing radiation exposures and associated health risks. In general terms, this assessment examines the radioactive source term characterization, analysis of the movement of radionuclides from the repository through the approriate environmental exposure pathways and doses received by members of the general public. This report used transuranic waste for individual dose and ground-water protection analysis.
