This rule revises the applicability of the standard of performance for sewage sludge incinerators to cover any incinerator that burns wastes containing more than 10% municipal sewage sludge, or charges more than 1000 kg per day sewage sludge. The intended effect of the revision is to exempt from the standard small incinerators for the combined disposal of municipal wastes and sewage sludge.
