Research Organization

NCEE has been actively involved in some of the competitive funding opportunities sponsored by the EPA's Office of Research and Development (ORD) and its research partners, most often the National Science Foundation (NSF) in the socio-economic area. In mid-2008 all existing such ORD Star grants were transferred to NCEE.

Each page in this database contains information about a successful proposal that involves environmental economics. An introduction, survey, and overview of some of the pre-1998 research summarized in this database can be found in Introduction to Environmental Economics Research at EPA. Please use the "Quick Links" in the upper right to browse this database: the links denote how records will be sorted, though the individual records are consistently displayed regardless of sorting.

Much of the economic research funded by ORD or ORD/NSF has been presented at previous Environmental Policy and Economics Workshops. Please see the NCEE upcoming events listing for future ones.
