The Office of Personnel Management posts all official job announcements for our available permanent positions. To be eligible for consideration for the positions, applicants need to apply on-line by the indicated deadline. Applications are scored and ranked according to the answers to the questions in the announcement, so please answer them carefully and accurately. Be sure to answer each question in order to be eligible for the position, as incomplete applications cannot be accepted with the on-line system.

When posted, links to the announcements can be found at the USAJOBS siteExit EPA ,which is the Federal Government's Employment Information System. USAJOBS provides worldwide job vacancy information, employment information fact sheets, job applications and forms, and has on-line resume development capabilities. The vacancy announcements are an important source of information and will answer many of the questions you may have. For example, the announcements contain information on closing/deadline dates for applications, specific duties of the position, educational requirements, duty location, salary, etc.

From the vacancy announcements on USAJOBS, you will find a link to EPA's on-line application system - EZHire http://www.epa.gov/ezhire/index.htm

If you fail to submit a complete online resume, you will not be considered for this position. Paper applications will not be accepted and requests for extensions will not be granted.
