Environmental Assessment Of The Final Effluent Guidelines For The Iron And Steel Industry, Final Report, Volume 1.
powered by
This report presents an environmental assessment of the water quality-related benefits that would be expected from promulgation of final effluent limitations guidelines, pretreatment standards, and new source performance standards for the iron and steel point source category. Benefits were estimated (monetized) for the following endpoints: number of instream excursions for pollutants that exceed ambient water quality standards and excess annual cancer cases (through consumption of contaminated fish).
