This regulatory support document provides technical, economic, and environmental analysis of the final emission standards for unregulated nonroad engines. These engines include
- large spark-ignition (SI) engines (greater than 19 kW) used in commercial applications, such as forklifts, electric generators, and airport ground service equipment,
- recreational vehicles using SI engines, such as off-highway motorcycles, all-terrain vehicles, and snowmobiles, and
- recreational marine diesel engines.
This regulation was proposed on 10/5/01.
