This report provides an inventory of national annual SO2 emissions from industrial (i.e., nonutility) sources. It also contains estimates of actual emission reductions resulting from diesel fuel desulfurization regulations defined in section 211(f) of the CAAA, which became effective in 10/93. This analysis also supports the rulemaking on industrial sources that opt-in to the SO2 allowance trading program, expected to be finalized in 1995.
