Under the "NOx SIP call" rule, eastern States must take action to reduce NOx emissions contributing to nonattainment of ozone standards in downwind states. RIA presents the potential costs and economic impacts that may result from an illustrative state implementation scenario that EPA has modeled.
This report contains EPA's estimates of the annual costs and benefits of the final NOx SIP call and the proposed NOx FIP and CAA section 126 petition actions. The report also contain a brief profile of potentially affected sources and potential economic impacts.
