Radiation Protection Standards For Scrap Metal : Preliminary Cost-Benefit Analysis, Preliminary Draft.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) prepared this cost-benefit analysis to support the Agency's development of preliminary draft regulations on release standards for scrap metal from nuclear facilities. The analysis considered three emission standards based on the annual radiation dose to the reasonably maximally exposed individual: 0.1 mrem, 1.0 mrem, 15.0 mrem.
