Economic Impact Analysis For The Final Vegetable Oil Processing NESHAP, Final Report.
powered by
This report analyzes the economic impacts of an air pollution regulation to reduce emissions of hexane, which is a solvent, generated in the production of crude vegetable oils and meals. Hexane is a hazardous air pollutant (HAP). This analysis presents the economic impacts of two regulatory alternatives. The first alternative is the MACT floor, and the EPA is promulgating this regulatory alternative. The economic impact results are also presented for an above-the-MACT-floor alternative, and these results are presented for comparison purposes only.
