Standards of performance for stationary sources of volatile organic compounds (VOC) from process and fugitive emission sources in the polymers and resins industry are being developed under the authority of Section 111 of the Clean Air Act. These standards would, in general, affect new and modified/reconstructed existing facilities that produce the following basic polymers: polypropylene, polyethylene, polystyrene, and poly(ethylene terephthalate).
